Winter 2010 Classes Now Enrolling

Today, computers are essential to every day life. They assist in routine calculations and projects, but also provide a means of communication and an enormous database of information. They are an interactive tool by which to explore science, math, and art in order to develop the students':

• analytical thinking
• technical abilities
• quick thinking
• interpersonal skills
• creativity

They provide hands on experience to such tools as microscopes, cameras, and robots. However, as time progresses, computers are being used as a creative outlet as well. The areas of animation, movie making, and painting have all been greatly expanded by the development of multi-media software.

Our TECHNICAL ARTS Program: Our program, coordinated by Computer Tots and Computer Explorers, intends to provide our students with experience in the technical arts, not only to develop them analytically, enhancing math and science skills, but also to provide a technical outlet for creative ideas.

Students will develop a familiarity with computers and technical concepts in an interactive environment facilitating their social, cognitive, and creative growth.
