Music is essential to the foundation on which society is built.

It is important to:

• our culture
• our economy
• the way our society progresses

Many artists express thoughts and ideals through music. Additionally, music is a science; therefore, knowledge and experience in its fundamental value can facilitate and expedite cognitive growth. It sparks parts of the brain that would not normally be stimulated, in turn leading to an aptitude for technical research and such fields as engineering and medicine. Thus, an education in music can improve a person's life by leading to success in school and society.

Our MUSIC program: We venture to give students exposure to specific aspects of music, but more importantly, to give them a general education that will lead to appreciation of this vital element of culture. We offer classes in:

• drums
• piano
• guitar
• voice
• music theory and appreciation

We will have periodic recitals and music students will participate in the musicals. Similar to our theatre program, our music program also develops the students culturally, socially, and academically and allows them to have fun through additional means.
